The rug is very pretty and nice and thick. It has been on the floor a few weeks and we are still trying to get a crease to relax...it will be fine. The colors are vibrant and it vacuums up nicely. The threads do not come loose but it does have a little haze of fluff that it is shedding. I think it is just a trait of new wool. We purchased a high grade rug pad with a rubberized non skid backing and are very please.
